At Maggie’s Ranch, we take pride in providing high-quality, custom-built livestock shelters made to meet your exact needs. Because each project is unique and made to order, our refund and cancellation policies are designed to protect both our customers and our business.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Custom Orders Are Final

All custom shelter projects are made to order based on the specifications, dimensions, and materials you approve.
Once your order is confirmed and materials are purchased, the project enters production — at that point, it cannot be canceled or refunded in full.

We strongly encourage customers to review all design details, measurements, and drawings carefully before approval.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Production Begins:
    If you cancel within 48 hours of placing your order and before materials have been purchased or construction has begun, you may receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee (typically 5–10% to cover transaction costs).

  • After Materials Are Ordered or Work Begins:
    Cancellations made after materials are purchased or production starts are non-refundable, as materials and labor costs are already incurred.

  • Design Changes:
    If you wish to make changes to your project after approval, additional fees may apply depending on the stage of production and scope of the change.

3. Deposits

For certain custom projects, we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your order and begin design or material preparation.
This deposit covers initial planning, design, and administrative costs and cannot be refunded once work begins.

4. Refunds for Damaged or Defective Products

If your shelter or product arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.

  2. We will review your claim and may, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

    • Free repair or replacement of the damaged part

    • Partial refund if damage cannot be reasonably repaired

    • Full replacement if the issue was caused by our fault or a verified manufacturing defect

We may require inspection or documentation before processing a replacement or refund.

5. Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  • Design consultations or site visits already completed

  • Custom shelters in production or completed

  • Delivery or installation fees

  • Materials ordered specifically for your project

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take additional time for funds to appear in your account.

7. Project Delays

While we strive to meet all estimated delivery dates, custom construction projects can be affected by weather, material shortages, or transportation issues.
Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for cancellation or refund.
